Songstress G.NA’s dance number “Black &White,” emerged a winner on music cable channel Mnet’s weekly singles chart last week after climbing two steps from the previous seven-day period.

“Black & White,” the title track to the singer’s first album of the same name, was released on January 18 and sings of two lovers as different as the colors black and white.

Ballad group 8eight member Lee Hyun's “Curse” from his second solo album released on February 7, debuted at No.2 on the chart.

The song expresses a guy's wish to overcome the unbearable pain of separation by cursing the girl who has left him.

Kim Bo-kyung’s “Day by Day,” the winner of the previous week’s chart, landed on third place after being pushed back two steps.

The song from songstress Kim’s official debut album “First Day,” released on January 25, is also a ballad that expresses one’s sorrow after a break up.

Kim appeared on Mnet's singing competition “SupestarK 2” last year through which she became popular after singing Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You.”

On the album's chart, Big Bang members G-Dragon (GD) and T.O.P’s first duo unit album “GD&TOP” and another member Seungri’s first solo mini-album “V.V.I.P.” remained on first and second place, respectively, for the second consecutive week.

GD, T.O.P and Seungri will soon make a comeback to the K-pop scene as a five-man band with members Taeyang and Daesung later this month with a new album.

The sixth soundtrack to KBS TV series “Dream High,” composed of songs “Can’t I Fall In Love” and “Don’t Go,” claimed No.3 on the chart, the first sung by two of 2AM members Changmin and Jinwoon and the second by Junsu from boy band 2PM and songstress Lim Jeong-hee.

“Dream High,” starring actual idols stars from the popular bands: 2PM, T-ara and miss A as well as singer IU, is a story about six teenagers honing their singing and dancing skills to make a stage debut someday.
