SBS ¡°Sign¡± keeps lead for 4th week

SBS¡¯ medical drama ¡°Sign¡± continued to lead the way on the Wednesdays and Thursdays primetime chart for the fourth consecutive week, according to findings by two media research polls on Friday.

¡°Sign¡± reported an average viewership rating of 17.4 percent on the survey by Total National Multimedia Research (TNmS) and 19.1 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research¡¯s listing, remaining unchanged overall in general ratings from last week.

In this week¡¯s episodes, medical examiner Yoon Ji-hoon (played by Park Shin-yang) decides to resign from his post at the National Forensic Service out of guilt over his false testimony in court to protect the honor of his late teacher.

Junior examiner Ko Da-kyung (Kim A-joong), trying to change his mind, ends up following him to a lonely countryside where they resolve another mysterious case regarding the sudden death of an old man with insurance money.

Meanwhile, female prosecutor Jung Woo-jin (Uhm Ji-won) and inspector Choi Yi-han (Jung Gyu-woon) come across the suspicious death of a female prisoner who got electrocuted while taking a shower.

MBC¡¯s ¡°My Princess,¡± about an ordinary girl who finds herself a descendant of the last royal family in Korea, scored average viewership ratings of 12.45 percent and 16.2 percent on TNmS and AGB¡¯s listings, respectively, showing an improvement of one percent from last week only on the latter chart.

Diplomat Park Hae-young (Song Seung-heon) holds a press conference to confess that the conglomerate his grandfather established was linked to the suffering of the country's last imperial family.

Princess Lee Seol (Kim Tae-hee) returns to the palace after resolving all the misunderstandings regarding her heritage and fires director Oh Yoon-joo (Park Ye-jin) who has been behind a scheme to bring down the royal family.

KBS¡¯ ¡°PRESIDENT,¡± that portrays a candidate's tough road to presidency, reported an average viewership rating of 6.6 percent on TNmS¡¯ survey and 8 percent on AGB¡¯ listing, showing about a two percent improvement from last week only on the latter chart.

Presidential candidate Jang Il-joon (Choi Soo-jong) breaks into tears after receiving a letter from his chief campaign adviser Kang Shin-il who decides to take care of Jang¡¯s scandal regarding an illegal fund by turning himself in.

Meanwhile Jang¡¯s son calls his father a hypocrite after learning about the existence of his illegitimate son who is now working with him on his election campaign.
