Female idol group 4minute released a new single today, their first release in Korea in a year.

At midnight yesterday, 4minute released their third single album ¡°Heart to Heart¡± composed of five tracks and the music video for the title track of the same name as the record.

The latest album, which is composed of a prologue track titled ¡°4Minutes Left,¡± dance numbers ¡°Heart to Heart¡±, ¡°Sweet Suga Honey!,¡± ¡°You Know,¡± and ballad ¡°Pretend,¡± are all based on the theme of romantic love, in contrast to the group's past fierce image.

The music video stars member Hyun-a and Lee Jung-shin from boy band CNBLUE as a couple, showing girls getting together to play pranks on the guy who is not paying enough attention to his girlfriend lately.

Its lyrics, matching with the scenes in the music video, expresses concern for the couple possibly drifting apart and suggests a 'heart-to-heart' talk for the two, in line with the title of the song.

4minute has been promoting their comeback for the past week, having released a teaser clip per day for the past five days that contained mature images of the members under the concept ¡°STEAL 20.¡±

The group splashed into the local music scene with their debut single "Hot Issue" in 2009 and has enjoyed success in several Asian countries including Taiwan and the Philippines with their mini-album "For Muzik."

They were the first K-pop girl group to branch out into the Japanese market in early May last year where they produced three Japanese singles including "Muzik," "I My Me Mine" and "First." The group's first full-length album "DIAMOND" was released in the country in early December.

The girls received the "K-Pop New Artists Award" at the Billboard Japan Music Awards in February and have been promoting their latest Japanese single "WHY."
