일상적인 삶과 관련된 체험적인 사실을 곧바로 캔버스에 옮기는 것이 아니다. 그 자신의 문학적인 감수성에 의해 용해된 사실이 캔버스를 채우게 된다. 그러므로 실제적인 이미지는 이미 그 자신의 의식 속에서 사라진다.

She would never transfer the realistic factor that she experiences in her daily life into the canvas, bur the phenomena which have been melted together in her literary sensitivity have been transferred into it.


단지 그 실제가 암시, 은유, 상징 등의 표현기법에 얹히면서 생략적이고 단순화되거나 재배치, 재구성 등의 조형적인 이미지로 그 모습을 달리하게 된다.

Therefore, the objects are being rearranged and recomposed by omission based on the tableaux of implication, metaphor, and symbol, etc, transformed into the formative images.


무엇보다도 여러 개의 장면 또는 상황을 짜집기 식으로 배열하는 이미지 모음 형식은 내재된 얘기를 마음껏 토로할 수 있다는 점에서 문학적인 사고를 지닌 그에게는 아주 적절한 표현방법이 아닐 수 없다.

Most of all, her collection style which is the image of arrangement of a number of scenes and situations as if they were woven together is the optimal method for her to apply because of her literary concept and that she can express anything accumulated in her inner world.


묘사기법에서는 형태감각을 약화시키고 있다. 바꾸어 말해 각 물상의 윤곽선을 약화시킴으로써 이미지 간의 경계가 뚜렷하지 않다. 흡사 파스텔 기법과 같은 미묘한 중간색조의 그 부드러운 이미지는 실제감을 약화시키는 대신 환상적인 느낌을 지어낸다.

In her descriptive technique, the sense of shape has been weakened. In other word, by weakening the configuration line of each object, the border of each image of the object is not clear. The smooth image of the delicate medium tints similar looking to pastel technique has increased the fantasized feeling while weakened the realistic existence feeling.


원색과 원색을 혼합함으로써 생기는 은은한 중간색조가 환상적인 분위기를 만들어낸다. 비현실적인 공간 처리와 색채이미지를 일치시키고 있는 것이다.

The graceful medium tints being created by mixture of the primary colors would often created a fantasized atmosphere. The disposition of unrealistic space is matched with the image of coloration.

서정적인 분위기가 짙게 풍기는 풍경들은 간결한 형태로 압축되는 시(時)의 이미지에 닿고자 한다.

The landscapes with the thick lyric amenity is about to reach the image of poem being compressed into simplified shape.


어디서나 흔히 볼 수 있는 도회지 풍경일지라도 삭막함을 벗고 부드럽고 따스하며 환상적인 이미지로 바뀐다. 그 자신의 꿈과 욕망이 그처럼 아름다운 환상을 만들어냈다.

The ordinary scenes of the urban district have been transformed into her canvas as a peaceful and warm scene from the dreariness. Her own dream and fantasy have thus created such beautiful scenes.
