Male rock band CNBLUE will release a special album to thank their fans, revealed their agency FNC Music on Wednesday.

A press release by FNC explained that CNBLUE will release a new album named ¡°FIRST STEP +1(PLUS ONE)¡± on April 26 as a way of expressing gratitude for the success of their first full-length album ¡°FIRST STEP.¡±

The new album will contain a total of four tracks including ¡°LOVE GIRL¡± and the Korean versions of their two Japanese songs ¡°Try again smile again" and ¡°Don¡¯t say good-bye."

The teaser clip to "LOVE GIRL," set to be the title track to the upcoming release that the boys will promote after "Intuition" which is the title track to "FIRST STEP," will be revealed on April 22.

¡°Try Again Smile Again¡± was the title track to CNBLUE¡¯s third Japanese single ¡°RE£MAINTENANCE¡± which debuted in second place on Japan¡¯s prestigious Oricon daily chart in January of this year.

Being a gift for fans, the boys' new release will be designed in the style of a diary with the cover of the jacket set to feature the four members in relaxed postures.

¡°The album was on CNBLUE's request to do so as a way of offering something special for their fans. The album will be a good gift indeed, containing songs released for the first time in Korea and photographs that contain everyday images of CNBLUE,¡± an official at FNC was quoted as saying in the statement.

CNBLUE¡¯s first album ¡°FIRST STEP,¡± which topped major weekly music charts of Mnet and Gaon upon the first few weeks of its release, sold over 150,000 copies nationwide and saw all 30,000 copies of its limited edition sold out in just a day of going on sale.

¡°Intuition¡± won triple crowns on the two televised live music shows, Mnet¡¯s ¡°M! CountDown¡± and KBS¡¯ ¡°Music Bank¡± as well as an additional win on SBS music show ¡°Inkigayo.¡±

The album was also a hit in Japan and Taiwan as well, being ranked on top of Taiwan¡¯s weekly G-Music chart under the J-pop category on the first week of April and topping the pre-order chart of Tower Records, one of Japan¡¯s biggest music retain chains, on April 10.

CNBLUE -- composed of members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jong-hyun and Lee Jung-shin -- made their debut in Korea early last with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory" after releasing two singles in Japan.
