Korean female idols 2NE1's music video for their new single "Lonely" has become the most popular video on YouTube in 10 different countries.

"Lonely" is featured as the most popular video under the category of music on the YouTube channels of South Korea, France, Algeria, Argentina, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa.

The music video itself has received over 1,308,975 views since being uploaded onto the official 2NE1 YouTube channel on May 11.

Just yesterday, "Lonely" took over the No. 1 spot on a number of online real-time music charts in Korea such as Daum, Naver, MelOn, Bugs and Dosirak.

Meanwhile, the girls are set to release their upcoming mini-album on June 23 that includes a total of six tracks, all of which they will promote by revealing a new track every three weeks.

They started by unveiling member Park Bom's solo tune "DON'T CRY" which has taken over various music charts for several weeks since its release on April 21.

Composed of other members CL, Sandra and Minzy, 2NE1 has been one of the most successful groups in the country since their debut in May 2009.
