JYJ's concert in Vancouver on May 20, 2011 [Prain]

Male trio band JYJ has completed two rounds of shows for the North America leg of their world tour, notified the group’s promoter Prain on Tuesday.

According to a press release by Prain, JYJ performed at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on May 20 and the Prudential Center in New Jersey, U.S. on May 22.

Javier Alcaraz, the sound engineer to JYJ's Vancouver concert, was quoted as saying that he found the boys vocals amazing while Brian Jerkins, the lighting engineer for the New Jersey concert said he was impressed by the individual talent and charisma exuding from the members.

The statement went onto say that Susan Rosenbluth, the vice president to AEG Live who is a top concert planner for world-class pop artists such as Celine Dion and Bon Jovi, turned up for the show.

JYJ expressed their excitement over the last two concerts, describing the moment “indescribably exhilarating."

“Those two hours were just fantastic. We felt overwhelmed and excited at the mere thought that we were a worldwide team," the members were quoted as saying. “We felt electrified seeing people of diverse races becoming one through our music in how they sang along to our Korean lyrics."

The boys previously held shows in Thailand, Taiwan and China from April to early May for the Asia segment of their tour which drew in over 43,000 fans in total.

The group is now set to head off to their remaining concerts scheduled for Los Angeles on May 27, San Jose on June 3 and a charity concert in Japan for the earthquake victims on June 7. The group will then return to Korea for a two-day finale concert in Busan set for June 11 and 12.

The group composed of Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu, formerly of quintet TVXQ, made their comeback to the music scene in October of last year as a trio under the name of JYJ and released their record in mid-October.
