Cover of 2NE1's upcoming song "The Coolest" [YG Entertainment's official blog]

Korean female idols 2NE1 have released a snippet for their new song along with the cover for the album containing the upcoming release on YG Entertainment's official blog.

A ten-second teaser and cover for 2NE1's new song "The Coolest" was revealed today, raising anticipation and curiosity amongst fans on its release.

The full version of the song and music video for "The Coolest" will be released simultaneously on June 24, while their mini-album containing their previous singles "Don't Cry," "Lonely," "The Coolest" and two or three more new songs will become available in stores on July 21.

The girls are also preparing for their first solo concert to be held at Seoul's Olympic Park Olympic Hall on August 27 and 28 and then head off to Japan for promotional events the following month.

The quartet, composed of member Park Bom, Sandara Park, CL and Minzy, has been one of the most popular girl groups in the country since their debut in May 2009. They have a number of hit songs including “Try To Follow Me,” “I Don’t Care” and “Fire."
