Korean actor Cha Seung-won will hold his second fan meeting in Taiwan later this month.
Cha's manager told 10Asia over the phone on Wednesday that the actor will leave for Taiwan on July 23 and hold his second-ever meet-and-greet in the country the following day.
He went onto explain that Cha decided on a second fan meeting since thousands of his fans were unable to take part in the first fan meeting he held last year due to the size of the venue.
He had visited the country to promote SBS' TV series "City Hall" which scored high viewership ratings during its run in the country.
"We heard that the tickets for the VIP seats sold out within minutes of going on sale while the venue will hold at least 3,000 fans," he said. "This fan meeting will be similar to the one that he had held before while we are still discussing other events."
Cha made his debut as a model before his first role in the 1997 SBS sitcom "New York Story" and has starred in dramas "Bodyguard (KBS, 2003)," "City Hall (SBS, 2009)" and "Athena (SBS, 2010)."
He has led a successful movie career as well with roles in "Kick the Moon (2001)," "Blood Rain" (2005), "Small Town Rivals" (2007) and "Blades of Blood" (2010).
Recently, he starred in the hit MBC romantic comedy "The Greatest Love" in which he played top actor DokGo Jin opposite actress Kong Hyo-jin.
