K-pop idols 2PM [JYP Entertainment]

K-pop idols 2PM will set off on their Asia tour which will begin in Korea this September, according to their agency JYP Entertainment.

"2PM will kick off their Asia tour titled 'HANDS UP ASIA TOUR' with shows in Seoul on September 2 and 3," a PR official from JYPE told 10Asia over the phone. "However, we are still in talks on when the boys will visit which countries."

She also added that fans can purchase tickets for 2PM’s concert in Seoul starting next week.

2PM, formed of members Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung, Junsu and Taecyeon, is known as one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008.

They officially expanded their singing careers into Japan last November and has since held their first concert tour in the country and released their first Japanese debut single "Take Off" on May 18 which claimed the No. 4 spot on the prestigious Oricon's weekly singles chart.

The boys will release their second Japanese single "I'm your man" on August 17, while in the country they have been busy promoting their new title track "Hands Up" from their second full-length album of the same name.
