Norwegian folk band Kings of Convenience and Dutch pop singer Wouter Hamel will hold a joint concert in Korea in October, according to the show's promoter Private Curve on Wednesday.

Private Curve announced through a press release that the two artists will take to the stage of Yonsei University's outdoor amphitheater in Seoul on October 2 to take part in the "Beautiful Singer-Songwriter Series 2011."

This will be the third time Kings of Convenience is visiting Korea following his 2008 and 2010 performances while Wouter Hamel has played in the country many more times.

Formed in Bergen, Norway, Kings of Convenience is composed of Erlend ¨ªye and Eirik Glambek B©ªe who both sing and write their songs.

They made their debut in 2001 with the album "Quiet Is The New Loud" and later released a remix album titled "Versus" (2001) and their second album "Riot On A Empty Street" (2004).

Wouter Hamel has many fans in both Korea and Japan with his pop jazz numbers such as "Breezy," "Don't Ask" and "March, April and May."

He will sing songs from his new album "Lohengrin," set for release in late September, at the upcoming concert.
