The contestants of MBC singing competition "I'm a Singer" [MBC]

A concert for MBC's singing reality show "I'm a Singer," where the top singers of Korea compete against each other, will be held in Australia in October.

The show's producer Shin Jung-soo told 10Asia over the phone on Friday that the concert will be held at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl of the Arts Centre in Melbourne of the state of Victoria on October 12.

He then explained that most of the current singers on the show, namely Jaurim, Insooni, Yoon Min-soo, Jang Hye-jin, Bobby Kim, Kim Johan and Jo Kwan-woo, will participate in the concert while they are discussing on having former participants take part as well.

Singers Kim Bum-soo, Lena Park, Kim Gun-mo, Jung Yeop, Baek Ji-young and YB were past competitors on the popular Sunday show.

The concert itself, which can accomodate up to 13,000 audiences, will be held for free to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Korea and Australia.
