The latest album by Korean singer Shin Hye-sung has placed within the top ten slots of Japan's Oricon music chart, according to a press release from his agency Liveworks Company.
On Thursday, Liveworks announced that the licensed version of Shin's fourth album "The Road Not Taken" came in ninth on Oricon's daily music chart upon its release on August 31.
The album features the rearranged Japanese version of his title track "Tik-tok, Tik-tok" and his rendition of former EXILE lead singer Kiyokiba Shunsuke's song "Miss You."
In August, Shin had topped Taiwan's CHANNEL V's music chart with "Tik-tok, Tik-tok" while his album came in third place on a weekly music chart.
Shin made his debut as one of the main vocalist for popular boy band Shinhwa in 1998 and embarked on a solo singing career in May 2005.
He has been busy promoting "The Road Not Taken" and is preparing for his encore concert "SHIN HYE SUNG 2011 Tour in SEOUL - THE ROAD NOT TAKEN ACT II" in Seoul this weekend.
