Korean singer Kim Hyung-jun and boy band INFINITE will take part in a music festival in Japan, according to Kim's official Japanese website.
On Friday, the website showed that Kim, INFINITE, Kim Yeun-woo and JUST will perform at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Yokohama on October 26 and 27 to celebrate the broadcasting of TV series "Lie To Me."
"Lie to Me," starring Kang Ji-hwan and Yoon Eun-hye, is a romantic comedy about a couple who, after being entangled in a marriage scandal that began with a small lie, end up falling in love with each other while trying to clear up the mess.
The 16-part series ran for two months in Korea on SBS in early May and recently began its run on various channels in Japan including DATV.
Meanwhile, an official at Kang's agency S-Plus Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone today that the actor will visit the country as well for a fan meeting the same day although details will be announced next month.
Making his debut in boy band SS501 in 2005, Kim embarked on a solo career after the group's contract expired and made his comeback with his first mini-album "My Girl." He had recently visited various countries in Asia to promote himself.
INFINITE, who recently made their comeback to the local music with their repackaged first full-length album, will make their official debut in Japan with the Japanese version of "Before the Dawn" next month.
Kang made his debut in the entertainment industry through the musical "Rocky Horror Show" in 2001. He has starred in a number of shows including "Be Strong, Geum-soon!" (MBC, 2005), "Hong Gil-dong, the Hero" (KBS2, 2008) and "My Girlfriend is an Agent" (2009).
