Several K-pop artists to take part in music fest in Japan next month

Some of the biggest names in the Korean music scene will be performing at the Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 in Japan next month.

The official website of the music fest showed that KARA, 2NE1, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, ZE:A, INFINITE, Teen Top, Dal¡ÚShabet, A-PINK will take the stage for the concert to be held at the Saitama Arena in Tokyo on November 9.

The Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 will be hosted by Korea's SBS Contents Hub and Japan's TBS.

KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, have recently wrapped up promoting their latest dance tune "STEP," from their third full-length album of the same name. They are currently in Japan promoting their new single "Winter Magic."

2NE1, formed of members Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, is one of the most popular girl groups since making their debut in May 2009. The girls have been focusing on their singing activities in Japan and are set to release their first Japanese single in the country on November 16.

Making his debut in boy band SS501 in 2005, Heo Young-saeng embarked on his solo career with his mini-album on May 12. He has also visited several countries in Asia including Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan for various fan events.

Kim, 24, made his debut as a member of boy band SS501 and while leading a solo singing career as well, recently starred in musical "Goong." He will make his screen debut in CSTV's "Go! Mrs. Go!" at the end of this year.

MBLAQ made their debut in 2009 with their single album "JUST BLAQ" and expanded their careers into Japan in June this year with "Your Luv." The boys are set to release their second Japanese single on October 26.

Brown Eyed Girls, who made their debut in 2006, have been busy promoting their title tracks "Sixth Sense" and "Hot Shot" on various televised music programs since its release on September 23.

Rainbow, formed of members Kim Jae-kyung, Oh Seung-a, Koh Woo-ri, No Eul, Jung Yoon-hye, Kim Ji-sook and Cho Hyun-young, have been busy with their singing career in Japan with their debut single "A" and will soon release their next single "MACH."

ZE:A (Children of Empire) made their local debut with single "Mazeltov" in January 2010. They are set to release their new Japanese single on November 23 which will feature the title track "Daily Daily."

INFINITE, composed of members Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, made their debut in April 2010. The boys are currently gearing up to make their official debut into the music scene in Japan with their single "Before the Dawn" set to go on sale on November 19.

Teen Top splashed onto the music scene with their album "Come Into the World" in 2010 and wrapped up promotional activities for their dance track "Don't Spray Perfume," from their mini-album "Roman, and have been chosen to represent Korea at a music festival in Singapore this November.

A PINK -- composed of members Hong Yoo-kyung, Jeong Eun-ji, Yoon Bo-mi, Son Na-eun, Park Cho-rong, Oh Ha-young and Kim Nam-joo -- made their debut with album titled "Seven Springs of A PINK" in April 2010.
