Korean rock band CNBLUE has entered the top five on Japan's Oricon chart with their latest Japanese album, according to their agency FNC Music on Wednesday.
A press release from FNC said that CNBLUE's "In my head" has sold 71,200 copies since going on sale in the country on October 19, taking the No. 4 spot on Oricon's weekly music chart.
The boys have made a successful major debut with "In my head," having sold over 30,000 copies on the day of its release to come in third on Oricon's daily chart as well as attracting 7,000 fans to their guerilla concert.
"We were shocked to see ourselves on Oricon's weekly chart and we want to thank all the fans for showing their support," the members of CNBLUE were quoted as saying.
CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been a successful and popular band in the K-pop scene as well where they made a debut in early 2010.
The quartet will also embark on a nationwide concert tour in Japan this December with shows at the Zepp Sendai, Zepp Nagoya, Zepp Osaka and wrap up at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium.
