Top Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has yet to make a decision on visiting Korea to promote his latest film "Moneyball," according to the pic's local promoter on Monday.

A report earlier in the day said that the actor will come to Korea in mid-November, ahead of the movie's release in the country on November 17, quoting an official in the movie industry.

However, an official with the movie's local promoter All That Cinema told 10Asia over the phone, "We have asked him to visit and are waiting for a response. The decision will come within the week."

It Pitt decides to come to Korea, it will be his first time in the country. His actress wife Angelina Jolie visited Korea in July of last year to promote her movie "Salt."

"Moneyball," based on Michael Lewis' 2003 book of the same name, tells of the Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season and their general manager Billy Beane's (Pitt) attempts to assemble a competitive team.

The pic has received high critical acclaim and was featured at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
