Korean actor Lee Min-ho will hold a series of fan meetings in China early next month, according to his agency Starhaus Entertainment.

On Monday, an official with Starhaus told 10Asia that Lee will kick off his fan event tour with his first stop at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center in Shanghai on December 1.

The official then said that they are still in discussions on the finalizing the dates and venues for his fan meetings in Nanjing, Beijing and Xiamen.

"Lee was originally scheduled to begin his fan meeting tour at an earlier date but pushed it back to December since he felt like he needed more time to prepare," the official explained.

Meanwhile, Lee has signed with Chinese entertainment firm Huayi Brothers Media Group and has been chosen as the spokesmodel for Hyundai, China and casual wear Semir.

Lee first appeared in various TV and short dramas in 2006 and rose to stardom in Korea and throughout Asia after starring in KBS' hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers" alongside Ku Hye-sun and Kim Hyun-joong.

He recently starred in SBS' action series "City Hunter" which was sold to the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
