Hollywood actor Brad Pitt will promote his latest film "Moneyball" in Korea early next week in what will be his first visit to the country, according to the pic's local promoter on Wednesday.

An official with All That Cinema said that Pitt hold a press conference with local media outlets on November 14 and attend the premiere for "Moneyball" the following day.

The official then said that "nothing has been decided" on whether his actress wife Angelina Jolie and their six children including Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne will accompany him on his upcoming visit although just yesterday, his entire family landed in Japan.

"Moneyball," based on Michael Lewis' 2003 book of the same name, tells of the Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season and their general manager Billy Beane's (Pitt) attempts to assemble a competitive team.

The pic has received high critical acclaim and was featured at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. It will open in theaters in Korea on November 17.
