Korean rock band CNBLUE's first major Japanese release has been certified gold, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

According to data for October posted on the official website of RIAJ, CNBLUE's "In my head" achieved gold status after selling over 100,000 copies in just a month of going on sale on October 19.

Under RIAJ's criteria, music content that sells over 100,000 copies are certified Gold.

The boys made a successful major debut with ¡°In my head¡± which entered the No. 4 spot on the prestigious Oricon's weekly chart and attracted over 7,000 fans to their guerilla concert to commemorate the release of the album.

CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been a successful and popular band in the K-pop scene as well where they made a debut in early 2010.

The quartet will also embark on a nationwide concert tour in Japan this December with shows at the Zepp Sendai, Zepp Nagoya, Zepp Osaka and at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium.
