Korean girl groups Secret and 2NE1 have placed within the top ten of Oricon's daily chart with their latest releases.

On Thursday, Oricon's official website showed that Secret's Japanese mini-album "Shy Boy" and 2NE1's new single "GO AWAY," both released on November 16, ranked in fifth and ninth place, respectively.

Secret's "SHY BOY" is composed of six tracks including the Japanese version of their hit song "Shy Boy" and a Christmas version of their "Starlight Moonlight."

Secret, composed of members Han Sun-hwa, Jun Hyo-seong, Song Ji-eun and Zinger, expanded their singing career to Japan with the release of their debut single "Madonna."

2NE1, formed of members Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, is one of the most popular girl groups since making their debut in May 2009.

The girls have been focusing on their singing activities in Japan and released their first mini-album in September.
