Girl group KARA has topped Japan's iTunes store with song "Super Girl" from their upcoming second studio release.
A press release by KARA's agency DSP Media said on Friday that "Super Girl," revealed on November 16, is currently No. 1 on the chart in terms of downloads.
The album, also named "Super Girl," is set for a release on November 23 and will contain songs such as "Jet Coaster Love," "Go Go Summer," and "Winter Magic" as well as songs from their third studio release in Korea.
The new record will also be released in three versions which depending on the version, will include a DVD on never-before-seen footage or a pictorial.
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
Their first full-length release in Japan, "Girl's Talk," went platinum upon its release in November of last year, making them the first Korean girl group to achieve the feat.
