A new girl group will debut under DSP Media, in charge of discovering and training girl groups KARA and Rainbow.

A press release by DSP said on Tuesday that the new band will be formed of five teenagers who will make their debut through an animated project set to show in both Korea and Japan.

The project, named "Pretty Rhythm, Dear My Future," will cross over between reality and animation, and tell of the process through which the members of the upcoming girl group are discovered and trained.

The song they then make their debut with in the series will be the actual song that the girls will promote in reality, around July.

Just today, the girls made their first appearance at Tokyo for the press conference for "Pretty Rhythm" since it is set for a premiere on Japan's TV Tokyo starting April. A date for Korea has yet to be set.

The group is said to be composed of 18-year-old Hyein, 16-year-olds Shiyoon, Chaekyung and Somin, and 14-year-old Jaeun.
