Girl group DAL★SHABET member Jiyul has been announced to make her big screen debut in a short film.

In the film "Her Story" (translated title) directed by award-winning director Yoon Tae-sik, Jiyul played a role of a sentimental young girl. She will be joined by actor Park Sang-hyuk, who will also be making his debut with the film.

The officials told 10Asia on Tuesday that the movie will be released at four local film festivals including JIFF (Jeonju International Film Festival) and BIFF (Busan International Film Festival) though the premiere dates have not been set due to the festivals' yearly-changing program schedules.

Han Na, the role Jiyul played, takes pictures of places where she spent time with her ex-boyfriend after he leaves her to go to Hawaii.

DAL★SHABET recently made their return to the music scene with their fourth mini-album "Hit U" which was chosen as the most-popular record on Gaon chart during the first week of February.
