Girls' Generation members Sooyoung, Tiffany and Yoori [MBC]

Idol groups from top Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment are set to hold a joint concert in Los Angeles, California next month.

Co-hosted by SM Entertainment and MBC, one of Korea’s three major broadcasters, “MBC Korean Music Wave in LA - SM TOWN SPECIAL!” will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Los Angeles on May 20, MBC said in a press release on Tuesday.

The grand concert will be joined by SM's artists including Girls’ Generation, TVXQ!, SHINee, Super Junior and f(x).

Having hosted major K-pop concerts in Australia, Japan and Thailand last year, MBC is set to present upgraded stage performances and collaborations between artists this time, the officials noted in the statement.

In addition, “MBC Korean Music Wave in LA - SM TOWN SPECIAL!" will later hit the airwaves on MBC and will feature live performance by the artists and backstage footage.
