Girls' Generation's trio unit Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun [SM Entertainment]

Girls' Generation's trio unit -- composed of members Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun -- will unveil a song from their upcoming album this weekend.

Their agency SM Entertainment announced through a press release on Monday that Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun's title track "Twinkle" from their mini-album of the same name will become available on Apple iTunes on April 29, and the album will hit stores on May 2.

"Twinkle" is a mid-tempo dance tune, produced by famed American producers Brandon Fraley, Jamelle Fraley and Javier Solis.

Additionally, SM explained that other tracks listed on their mini-album will be uploaded onto local music distribution websites on April 30.

Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun made their official debut as part of the nine-member group Girls' Generation in 2007. They have a number of hit songs under their belt including "Gee," "Oh!," "Run Devil Run," "Tell Me Your Wish," "MR. TAXI" and "The Boys."

Aside from their group activities, Tiffany and Taeyeon each have performed in musicals "Fame" in 2010 and "Midnight Sun" last year, while all three girls have lent their voices for a number of TV dramas' soundtracks.
