Korean rock band CNBLUE is seeing their popularity grow overseas with their third mini-album "EAR FUN" coming in at 13th place on the United World Chart.
According to data by the United World Chart during the third week of April, CNBLUE's "EAR FUN" had the largest sales increase that week and came in at No. 13 spot, surrounded by famed world-renowned artists such as Adele, Madonna, One Direction and Nicki Minaj.
The United World Chart is a Germany-based Media Traffic website that began in 1998 and it combines the weekly measure of world sales of singles and album released in the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands and Australia.
In the meantime, CNBLUE is gaining good reputation as an idol rock band with the group's "EAR FUN," which had moved far over 50,000 copies during the three weeks of release, and their title track "Hey You" topping charts on televised music programs last week.
Due to the overwhelming love of their fans, the boys released the special limited edition of "EAR FUN," which sold out since going on sale in the country on April 10.
CNBLUE will focus on their individual activities from this week, after they wrapped up promoting their album with the final performance on SBS' "Inkigayo" last weekend.
