A tune by Korean rock band CNBLUE has been chosen as the ending theme song for the third season of "Gossip Girl" in Japan.
Their agency FNC Entertainment said in a press release today that CNBLUE's song "Get Away," written by member Lee Jong-hyun and listed in their second single album "Where you are," will play at the end of each episode of "Gossip Girl" set to air on Nippon TV starting May 1.
"We just felt that the lyrics to the song and the overall feeling went well with 'Gossip Girl' which is currently popular in Japan," an official with FNC said in the statement.
In the meantime, Lee is busy shooting the upcoming SBS TV series "Dignity of a Gentleman" (tentative title), slated to make its premiere on May 26, alongside top actors Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ha-neul.
Lee made his debut as the second guitarist and vocalist in CNBLUE while they recently wrapped up promoting their third mini-album "EAR FUN" to focus on their individual activities.
