K-pop group B.A.P's latest album "POWER" has powered the rookie singers in the competitive K-pop music scene for sure.
B.A.P's sophomore single "POWER" moved a whopping 30,000 copies in just one day since being dropped on Monday, based on data compiled by Hanteo daily album chart.
The record grabbed No. 4 and No. 5 spots, each on April 30 and May 1, on Hanteo's daily album sales chart and it sat at No. 2 on the website's real time album sales chart on May 2, following after Girls' Generation's trio unit album "TWINKLE."
On Hot Tracks' online/offline total album sales chart on May 1, the new album ranked at the second place, coming after the front-runner Busker Busker's self-titled debut album.
"We haven't sold the boys' album to the overseas markets yet so we're getting overwhelming number of calls from abroad for individual or group orders," the group's agency said in a statement this morning.
On the day of their comeback on Monday, 10Asia reported that the six-member group's release scored big that day by entering the top 10 on the hip-hop albums charts in Norway, the United States, Australia, Japan, Netherlands and Canada.
B.A.P -- consisted of Bang Yong-guk, Him Chan, Zelo, Jong-up, Young-jae and Dae-hyun -- already staged their debut performance on KBS' "Music Bank" on April 27 and they will continue to promote their new single through televised music programs.
