KBS series "My Husband Got a Family" had no trouble in extending its stranglehold again on the weekly TV ratings last week.

Nearing the midway point of the series, "My Husband Got a Family" stretched its winning streak after posting ratings of 32.7 percent, according to TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) data compiled between May 7 and 13.

The winner for the eighth consecutive weeks sprung back up from its continued ratings dip during the past few weeks and saw a rise of 0.9 percent.

KBS' comedy show "Gag Concert" climbed two spots up from the previous week and nabbed the No. 2 spot with ratings of 20 percent.

Additionally, MBC's Monday and Tuesday powerhouse "Light and Shadow" came in third after drawing in 19.4 percent of the total viewers and the channel's "Supper of the Gods" followed next with ratings of 17.5 percent during the same period.

Rounding up the top five was KBS' 9 o'clock News with 16.9 percent of the TV audience tuning in.

Other shows in the top ten include KBS' "Reaching for the Stars," SBS series "My Daughter the Flower," SBS' variety show "I Like Sundays," KBS series "Man From the Equator" and SBS' "Wow How."

In the meantime, AGB Nielson Media Research's data announced this morning showed slightly different figures with "My Husband" staying strong as the unbeatable winner of the week.

Followed by the front-runner gravving holding tight to the top spot with ratings of 32.1 percent, "Light and Shadow" and "Gag Concert" each grabbed No. 2 by posting 21.6 percent and No. 3 spot with 20.4 percent last week.
