K-pop idol group 2PM is continuing to see more fruitful results with their latest Japanese single, "Beautiful."
2PM's fourth Japanese single "Beautiful" has perched atop Japan's coveted Tower Records' weekly singles chart, according to Tower Records' data compiled between June 4 and 10.
The album, which exudes the boys' masculine energy, has moved over 140,000 copies since the release on June 6 and it also posted notable records on Oricon's weekly singles chart by sitting at No. 2 in the same time frame.
"2PM's six-day concert held at Budokan sold off a total of 84,000 tickets including the extra shows," an official from their ageny JYP Entertainment said in a press release this morning.
"They've already posted album sales that is over twice the figure of the third single and 2PM is solidifying themselves as the leading K-pop group in Japan."
In Korea, meanwhile, the "Again&Again" singers rolled out a special album titled "2PM The Member's Selection" on May 22, which is a compilation of 2PM's hit songs of the members' choice.
2PM -- formed of Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Chansung and Taecyeon --broke into the K-pop music scene with their debut single "Hottest Time of the Day." Under JYP Entertainment, the boys debuted around the same time with the ballad group 2AM in 2008.
