2NE1's Minzy [YG Entertainment]

Top girl group 2NE1 will make their first comeback performance for new album next weekend.

Revealing the individual teaser photo of the group's youngest member Minzy, YG Entertainment announced that the girls will grace the stage on SBS' "Inkigayo" to mark their return to the local music scene on July 8.

The unveiled teaser image showed Minzy oozing sophistication, donned in a leopard print coat and dazzling jewelries.

Other than the fact that their album will drop on July 5, YG has remained silent regarding further details on their forthcoming release.

2NE1's comeback has been highly anticipated by their fans around the world since it has been about a year after they took a short break from singing in the country in July last year.

Additionally, the "I AM THE BEST" singers will set out their first world tour "NEW EVOLUTION" starting with their first performance taking place at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on July 28 and 29.

Having become the first Korean female idol group to hold such a grand tour, 2NE1 will be in hands with some of the top musicians and performance directors that have worked with A-list artists, including King of Pop Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and Usher.

YG said that late Michael Jackson’s “This is It” tour choreographer Travis Payne and Beyonce tour band’s leader Divinity Roxx will hit the road together with the girls."

Following their shows in Seoul, 2NE1 will then jet-set to ten cities in seven countries, including the United States and Europe.
