The slow roll-out of 2NE1's snippet on the next album continues, and the girls have finally opened up core details about the coming release.

The leading female K-pop group will be releasing a new single titled "I LOVE YOU" on July 5, but this is just the start of an array of new songs they will unveil in coming weeks, according to YG Entertainment's press release Friday.

The "FIRE" singers will drop the second single three weeks after releasing the first, which the officials explain is the firm's strategy to focus on promoting each song, just like they did last year.

As this is the girls grand return to the music scene in about a year after introducing the sophomore mini-album, 2NE1's new tunes are much awaited by an ever-growing internationally spread base of passionate fans.

Last month, an official from YG told the magazine in a brief telephone interview that they are mulling to list about seven songs in the forthcoming album, all produced by the firm's hit-maker Teddy.

In the meantime, the four fashionistas are scheduled to hit the road for their world tour, "NEW EVOLUTION," starting with the sold-out show in Seoul on July 28.

They are known to be the first among all K-pop female artists to hold a large-scale world tour.

2NE1 kicked off their singing career with the debut digital album, "Lollipop," in 2009. Throughout the past few years they have been building a strong international fandom alongside its labelmate Big Bang, with a slew of hits including "FIRE," "LONELY" and "UGLY."
