2PM Nichkhun's film set to open in theaters in Thailand

An omnibus Thai film featuring 2PM member Nichkhun will open in Thailand this week.

JYP Entertainment (JYPE) announced in a press release Monday that "Seven Something" will make its premiere in the country on July 26.

"Seven Something" is a three-part movie revolving around love and in the chapter titled "42.195," helmed by director Jira Maligool, Nichkhun plays a marathon runner that tries to figure out the meaning of love. Thai actress Suquan Bulakul is playing the female lead alongside Nichkhun.

The film has created a buzz when the poster was revealed at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival's film market in May.

Meanwhile, Nichkhun recently attended the press conference and special screening for "Seven Something" in Thailand.

Nichkhun, whose full name is Nichkun Buck Horvejkul, is a Thai-American singer who was discovered and trained by JYP Entertainment.

As a member of 2PM, they recently wrapped up their Asia tour after performing in several countries throughout Asia including Taiwan, China, Singapore and Malaysia.

Aside from his group activities, Nichkhun has appeared on a number of variety shows such as MBC¡¯s reality TV series ¡°We Got Married," and made his film debut in Japan with a role in "Ouran High School Host Club."
