Korean female idols After School and its sub-unit, Orange Caramel, will stage performances at one of Japan's prestigious fashion shows in two months.

"After School and Orange Caramel will both grace the stage at the second annual Tokyo Girls Collection in Nagoya fashion show on September 1," a rep with their agency Pledis Entertainment told the magazine in a phone interview Tuesday.

The official added that ahead of their fashion show performance, member NaNa, who walked the runway as one of the main models at last year's show, will make an appearance at one of musicweek collections in "a-nation" festival at Tokyo's Resort Stage on August 5 and 8.

"NaNa was the only member invited to the event since she is a regular on TV Tokyo's show 'TOKYO BRANDNEW GIRLS,' where they advice female viewers on the latest trends in clothes, manicures, hairstyles and makeup."

After School, who officially expanded their singing careers into Japan last year, have seen relative success in the country with their singles "Diva" and "Rambling Girls," and recently dropped their fourth single "Lady Luck / Dilly Dally."

After wrapping up their fifth local single "Flashback" released in the country in June, the eight-member girl group is scheduled to resume their activities overseas with two sets of fan meetings at the Takeshiba New Pier Hall in Tokyo on August 19.

Meanwhile, Orange Caramel, the sub-unit of After School composed of NaNa, Raina and Lizzy, will launch their official activities in Japan with their debut single on September 5. It will list the remake of the Japanese hit song "My Sweet Devil" dropped in 1977 and the Japanese version of their debut song "Magic Girl."

Before the release of their official single, the trio will also grace the stage at the "Asia Progress F," the female-artist-only section of the 12th a-nation festival, at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on August 10.
