Korean singer Kim Hyung-jun's latest album has found success overseas, waiting to drop in four countries in Asia this week.

Kim will simultaneously unleash his second mini-album "ESCAPE" in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore on August 17, according to a press release by his agency S-Plus Entertainment Thursday.

The firm added that "ESCAPE," which hit stores in Korea on July 10 and in Japan on August 8, will also become available in Malaysia on August 24.

A rep with Warner Music Taiwan said in the statement, "Kim's new album shows a more mature sound and look. We have high expectations that the album itself will achieve fare sales once it hit stores this week."

Kim made his debut as the youngest member of the popular boy band SS501 in 2005. He signed with S-Plus Entertainment after the group's contract with DSP Media expired in 2010.

Under the guidance of his new agency, Kim released the first solo mini-album "My Girl" in March 2011 and starred in KBS' cable channel KBS-N's "She's Completely Insane!" in January.

He added more to his acting resume by starring in the TV version of "Late Blossom" on SBS Plus this year.

As a singer, Kim made his comeback to the local music scene with the release of his second solo album "ESCAPE" in early July.

Kim is currently on his month-long nationwide Japan tour, dubbed "KIMHYUNGJUN 2012 2nd Story in Japan." He will hold a total of nine sets of performances in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya and Sapporo from August 3 to 26.
