K-pop boy bands invade Oricon¡¯s daily music chart

K-pop male idols have secured hearts of music fans in Japan with their latest records' sales scoring big on Oricon's music charts.
CNBLUE¡¯s first Japanese full-length effort, dubbed ¡°CODE NAME BLUE,¡± topped the daily albums chart after moving about 22,000 copies before its release on Wednesday, according to data polled by Oricon on August 28.
The quartet is currently in the country leading an active singing career, performing at a major rock festival over the weekend and gearing up for their arena tour in two months.
Over on Oricon's daily singles chart, three Korean boy groups placed within the top five after hitting the shelves of music stores in the country on August 28.
Following their previous releases faring well on the chart, seven-member group INFINITE have moved about 23,000 copies of their third Japanese single "She's Back."
Choshinsung also proved their popularity in the music scene in Japan with their new single "She's Gone," which debuted at No. 4 on the same chart, while B1A4¡¯s second Japanese single ¡°Baby Good Night¡± placed at No. 5.
