Sung-kyu of seven-member boy band INFINITE has finally made his solo activities official.
Woollim Entertainment, INFINITE's agency, has been careful to drop only the most vague hints about a possible unit activity until today, when the firm posted a poster online notifying of Sung-kyu's solo debut this month.
The revealed poster shows the phrase "Kim Sung-kyu Another Me," which is quite ambiguous to guess the idol star's new concept and music genre.
Sung-kyu is one of the vocalists and the leader of INFINITE. His vocal strength has already been proven through his appearance on KBS "Immortal Song 2."
The group's fresh project has already been hinted last month through Woollim Entertainment's video featuring its affiliated artists. Showing Nell, TASTY, Baby Soul and INFINITE in order, the clip ends with the sentence "What is the NEXT BIG THING? 2012 November."
Though it has been less than five hours since the announcement, fans are already spreading the news fast by writing blog posts and tweeting.
INFINITE are currently swinging through Japan for their Japan Arena tour. Kicking off the tour wiht the Yokohama leg on October 27 and 28 and, they will continue to open more shows in Nagoya, Kobe, Fukuoka and Tokyo this month.
