American-Korean rapper Jay Park met with about 3,000 fans at a fan meeting he hosted over the weekend.

The "nothin' on you" singer met fans in the flesh at the "Welcome to JP World," held at Seoul's Sangmyung Art Center in South Korea, last Sunday, according to Sidus HQ's press release sent Monday.

The two-hour-long event, which also included his fan club JAY EFFECT's inauguration ceremony, opened with "Know Your Name" and "Up&Down."

Led by Korean comedian Kim Ki-soo, "Welcome to JP World" entertained the audiences by revealing his backstage life through some question and answer programs.

"I have really enjoyed myself for two hours. I am recording my next album these days, but think I was a little lazy. From today, I'll my best to see you all often [with the new album as soon as possible,]" Park said to the crowd, wrapping up the event on the stage.

Meanwhile, Park is currently making his appearance as one of the supporting emcees on MBC's talk show "Yoo & Kim's - Monday Night" and will release his new album at the beginning of the next year.
