KBS daily series "Smile Again" [KBS]

KBS daily series “Smile Again” remained the nation’s most-watched show for 13th consecutive week though it failed to return to the 40 percent range in ratings, according to data by two media research companies on Monday.

“Smile Again,” about the life and love of a young cook who tries to make ends meet against all odds, topped charts with an average viewership rating of 39.4 percent on Total National Multimedia Statistics’ (TNmS) survey and 38.7 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) poll.

KBS weekend primetime series “My Love, My Family” which portrays the troubled love situation of four couples in one family, came second for the sixth straight week, after yielding an average viewership rating of 22.8 percent on a survey by TNmS and 23.2 percent on that of AGB’s.

TNmS, then, placed KBS 9’o clock News, which fetched an average viewership of 19.3 percent, on third while AGB ranked MBC’s weekend primetime series “Can You Heart My Heart” at No. 3 with an average viewership rating of 18.9 percent on the same place.

Other TV programs that jointly made to the weekly top 10 on both charts were “Happy Sunday,” “Infinite Challenge,” “Twinkle Twinkle,” and “Midas.”
