Schedule regarding 2PM's upcoming release [JYP Entertainment's official Twitter account] |
The release date for boy band 2PM's new album in Korea has been set for June 21, according to Twitter account of the boys' agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) on Wednesday.
The date was revealed through an image uploaded onto JYPE's Twitter acccount http://twitter.com/#!/JYPEOFFICIAL while also showing additional dates related to the upcoming album; June 13 as the release date for teaser images, June 15 the teaser video and June 20 the digital version of the album.
A question mark next to June 16 suggests that a surprise event may take place in regard to the record which will be the boys' second full-length album, also their first release back home since October of last year when they promoted song "I'll Be Back."
They had been in Japan since November, holding their first concert tour throughout the country and promoting their Japanese debut single "Take Off," which was released on May 18 and claimed the No. 4 spot on the prestigious Oricon's weekly singles chart.
The band, composed of members Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung, Junsu and Taecyeon, has been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008.
