Additional artists have been named as official participants of the annual Pentaport Rock Festival, according to the event's official website on Monday.

Pentaport's official website revealed that popular Japanese nu metal band Maximum the Hormone (Makishimamu Za Horumon) and folk singer-songwriter Jo Gil-sang will join 60 other international and local artists at Incheon's Dream Park from August 5 to 7.

Maximum the Hormone, composed of members Ryo Kwawkita, Daisuke Tsuda, Nao Kawakita and Futoshi Uehara, will grace the main Pentaport Stage while Jo will join other upcoming and coming artists for the Hello Rookie stage.

Pentaport Rock Festival, sponsored by the city of Incheon, first began in 2006 and received its name from Incheon city's strategy to develop further in the areas of airport, seaport, teleport, business-port and leisure-port.

Tickets for the rock festival is currently available on various online shopping websites.
