Korean boy band BEAST saw their first full-length Japanese album make its debut at the No. 2 spot on Oricon's daily chart.
Oricon's official website on Thursday showed that BEAST's album "SO BEAST" came in second place on the daily chart after selling 26,565 copies since its release on August 10.
"SO BEAST" was released in three version -- a regular edition which will include only the record while limited edition A will be composed of the album, DVD and a 72-page photobook and limited edition B the album, DVD and a 32-page pictorial.
Meanwhile, the ringtone version of BEAST's "FICTION: ORCHESTRA VERSION-JAPANESE VERSION" made its debut in first place on the daily chart of Japan's biggest mobile website RecoChoku last month.
They had previously topped the same chart with their other Japanese singles including "SHOCK" and "BAD GIRL."
BEAST, formed of members Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Yo-seop, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang and Jun-hyung, has been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea since making their debut in 2009.
The group recently wrapped up their Asia tour after performing in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Taiwan and are currently preparing for the UNITED CUBE CONCERT along with fellow Cube Entertainment artists which will take place at the Jamsil Outdoor Stadium in Seoul this weekend.
