Award-winning American rapper Ludacris will reach an agreement on cooperation with top Korean talenthouse YG Entertainment next week.
A press release by promoter PR Bridge said Wednesday that Ludacris will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with YG at a press conference set to take place during his visit to Korea on September 20, a day after his arrival in the country.
"Ludacris has a lot of interest in Korea and plans to meet with officials in YG to talk directly to them about the exchange they will have musically," an official at YG told 10Asia over the phone, hinting to the possibility that the two parties may collaborate in the future.
Ludacris will also launch his self-designed headphones Soul by Ludacris in Korea which will be introduced at the press event on Tuesday as well.
This will not be the first time the rapper will visit the country -- he was in Korea just last month as well to promote his line of headphones.
Born Christopher Brian Bridges, Ludacris is an American rapper and actor. He has sold over 1.7 million albums in the United States and 2.4 million worldwide. Ludacris has won a Screen Actors Guild, Critic's Choice, MTV, and several Grammy Awards during his career.
He is well-known for his hit songs "Get Back," "My Chick," "How Low" and was featured on teen sensation Justin Bieber's tune "Baby."
