KBS' action series "Poseidon" has been sold to several countries in Asia, according to the show's producer.

On Wednesday, a producer from the show told 10Asia that "Poseidon" was sold to seven countries in Asia including Japan, China and Taiwan.

"We received a great amount of interest from international buyers and we felt that Super Junior's Choi Si-won and TVXQ's U-Know Yunho was one of the factors that led to sealing the deal," the producer explained.

"Poseidon," also starring Lee Sung-jae and Lee Si-young, tells the story of special forces soldiers of the National Maritime Police Academy trying to resolve the numerous crimes that occur at sea.

The show ended its two-month run last night and maintained its position as the No. 3 show on the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup with ratings in the seven to ten percent range.
