Girl group Secret member Jun Hyo-seong is in casts after falling down a flight of steps while leaving her house.

A press release by Secret's agency TS Entertainment said Wednesday Jun has ruptured the cartilage in her left knee and fractured the top side of her right foot from the fall which occurred earlier in the day.

She is now wearing casts on both injuries and her doctor has said she will need four weeks to recover, the statement explained.

Accordingly, she will also not be able to take part in her group's activities for the coming weeks including appearing at a ceremony for their appointment as promotional ambassadors for the Hallyu Expo today and the 2011 MelOn Music Awards set for tomorrow.

"We will have to reschedule her activities because of her injuries but for the time being, we plan to focus our all on her recovery," the statement added.

Jun is 21 years old and the leader of her pop quartet which made its debut in 2009. They expanded their singing career to Japan in August of this year and are set to tour the country in March 2012.
