Korean female idol Seung-yeon of girl group KARA has said she is worried about excited at the same time about their solo performances for their first concert.
She made the comment during a press conference held ahead of the first stop of their "KARASIA 2012 The 1st Concert" in Seoul, South Korea on February 18 while speaking of the group's expectations and concerns for their concert.
"It was about time we held our first concert (laugh) since we made our debut five years ago and for the most part I am excited about seeing all our fans in Korea and other Asian countries though I am really worried and excited about our solo performances," she said.
Seung-yeon then explained, "This is the first time that any of us will be on stage alone for close to four minutes to sing and dance without the other members though we hope the fans enjoy it since it will give them a chance to see a different side to KARA."
The press conference ended with each of the members expressing their feelings on how they are all anxious and excited about their first concert and in getting to see their fans overseas.
KARA then kicked off their concert at the Olympic Stadium in front of some 9,000 local and international fans with their dance tunes "Step," "Wanna" and "Jumping."
The concert continued with several of their songs from the past that were never performed on televised music programs such as "Umbrella," "Binks," "Date" and "With."
KARA also sang ballads "I'm ...ing" and "Wait" while each of the members gave their solo performances with songs that will be released in album format at a later date.
The girls then took the stage for several of their hit Japanese songs including "Winter Magic," "Jet Coaster Love" and other past tunes "Honey," "My Darling" "Mister" and shed tears during their fan song "Dear Kamilia."
Their concert wrapped up with their encore performance of "Pretty Girl," "Girl's Be Ambitious" and "Rock U."
KARA, who made their debut in 2007, will take their "KARASIA" concert to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand.
