2NE1 is now a step closer to returning to stage with the group's first-ever, and the first of all K-pop female acts, world tour concert set to kick off as soon as next month.
About a month before the K-pop icons give the first opening of ¡°NEW REVOLUTION¡± in Seoul, YG Entertainment revealed a teaser photo of 2NE1¡¯s leader CL on Monday.
Donned in black leather shorts, fishnet stocking and leopard-print ankle booties, CL is looking straight into the camera next to the phrase, ¡°Are You Ready?¡±
CL, exuding the vibe of a heroine or ¡®female warrior¡¯ in the revealed photo, may not be the only one who is ready for the highly awaited show happening in seven cities in ten countries.
The whole production crew of ¡°NEW REVOLUTION" seems to be ready with some secret weapons to be brought to the event.
The "Ugly" singers' large-scale show is armed with some of the top musicians and performance directors that have worked with A-list artists such as Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga and Usher, to name a few.
According to the firm¡¯s statement, King of Pop Michael Jackson¡¯s ¡°This is It¡± tour choreographer Travis Payne and Beyonce tour band¡¯s leader Divinity Roxx will join the girls to bring 2NE1 fans to their feet.
The Seoul leg of ¡°NEW REVOLUTION¡± will be held at the Olym Park Gymnastics Stadium on July 28 and 29, which is not far after the girls drop a new album in the country.
A month and a half after the Seoul run, CL, Minzy, Park Bom and Sandara Park will take their tour to Japan on September 1 and the firm will announce following concert dates and venue on a later date.
