A group of top K-pop acts from one of Korea's top talent agencies, JYP Entertainment (JYPE), will hold a joint concert in Korea and Japan.
An official from the JYPE told the magazine Thursday that the firm's C.E.O and singer Park Jin-young, 2PM, 2AM, the Wonder Girls, miss A, San-E, JOO and rookie group JJ Project will hold "JYP Nation in Korea 2012" at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on August 4.
The artists who have built their popularity with the signature JYP-style groove will then fly to Japan to hold two more runs at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on august 18 and 19, the officials said.
While opening joint concerts hosted by management firms has been a fad here in recent years, the company's JYP Nation kicked off just two years ago with a Christmas concert and was held in Japan in August of last year.
Founded in 1997 by famed singer and producer Park Jin-young, the JYPE engages in different areas in the entertainment business including music production, new artist recruitment, training and management.
The company is also famous for producing some of the most successful K-pop artists including Rain and Lim Jeong-hee.
The first round of ticket sales will become available at Korea's auction and shopping mall Interpark on July 17.
