With the dates and destinations set, XIA is a step closer to opening his world tour as early as next month.

XIA, K-pop trio JYJ's member, also known by his name Kim Junsu, has announced the tour dates and venus for the tour's North American and South American stops, C-JeS Entertainment officials said in a press release Wednesday.

With a healthy dose of a new English-language single in the upcoming repackaged album to "Tarantallegra," the long journey will kick off at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, the United States on August 30.

"I've been staying in the United States to work on my single and its music video. I'm highly satisfied with the result of the album. I'm just overwhelmed with excitement on meeting my fans around the world," the singer was quoted as saying.

On September 2, the artist will open the second leg at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, where hip-hop artist Jay-Z and teenage sensation Justin Bieber have performed for their own concerts.

After performing at the BlackBerry Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico on September 6, he will rush to South America to run two more sets in the region.

The singer and musical actor is to bring his music to fans in Brazil at the Espacio Victory, Sao Paulo on 8.

The last destination announced so far is Chile, where he will be meeting fans in the flesh at the Teatro Caupolica, Santiago on September 10. The venue is known for hosting JYJ's world tour in March.

"World tour is like an endless task. Holding tours across North America and South America as a solo artist is a difficult job, even for American pop singers. Once again, we'll pull off [the tour] well and we're confident about the infrastructure and system we have," a C-JeS official said in the statement.

In the run-up to the large-scale event, officials confirmed last week that the repackaged version of his first solo album "Tarantallegra" will include a new single sang in English and its English music video.

In the meantime, XIA is scheduled to wrap up his solo Asia tour with the last stop in Hong Kong on August 7. C-JeS officials added they will announce the European tour dates and venues next month.
